John Wesley Watson

John Wesley Watson born October 8, 1847 in Sullivant County, Tennessee. October 7, 1864 John Enlisted in the Sullivan county Reserves, Tennessee Volunteers Confederate States Army.  He married Elizabeth Glover October 16, 1866.  He owned land and was a minister after the Civil War.  He was a charter member of the Chinquapin Grove Baptist Church.  He rode a horse the named Mike.  John died October 24, 1914.

Herbert Hoover Watson Was born May 12, 1918.  He married Louise Caudill May 10, 1940.  He founded Watson Brothers' Sheet Metal Company in Elizabethon, Tennessee with his brothers Virgil, Clifford, and Ray.  He was Plant foreman for over 20 years at the Mapes Piano String Company in Elizabethon.  He had two children.  Stephen David Watson (1942- ), and Sharon Patricia Watson (1947- ).

He died in 1989

Samuel Joseph Watson

Samuel Joseph Watson was born November 3, 1869.  He was first married to Lillie Peters ( ?-Jul. 18, 1898).  They had three children.  Vedder Watson, Anna Dayton Elizabeth Watson (1894-1090), and Everett J. Watson (1897-1898).  His wife died a five years after their baby.  Twelve years later he married Rosa Belle Lowrie (1885-1963).  They had seven children: John James Watson (1911-1966), Virgil Dexter Watson (1913-1949), Stuart Lansing Watson (1915-?)(He was alive in 1983), Herbert Hoover Watson (1918-1940), Clifford Joseph Watson (1921-? He was alive in 1986), Austin Ray Watson (1924-? He was alive in 1986), Thomas Freeman Watson (1927-? He was alive in 1986).

Samuel died Nov 2, 1930.
